Training the cultural entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

PIICC is a training and support program for cultural and creative professionals in Africa.

It helps develop meaningful, sustainable and locally-rooted projects in three countries: the Democratic Republic of Congo, Benin and Morocco.

Each country implements its own version of the program with local partners, promoting autonomy, professionalisation and South-North as well as South-South cooperation.

DRC – Democratic Republic of Congo

PIICC in the DRC supports cultural entrepreneurship in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and the East.

The training includes:

  • a residential bootcamp in Kinshasa
  • online modules with individual coaching
  • masterclasses with international experts
  • project development and jury presentation
  • post-training mentorship and networking

This edition is delivered in partnership with Kobo Hub and INA, and supported by WBI.

Benin

The PIICC program in Benin is under development and will launch in 2025. It will build on strong local expertise and aim to strengthen entrepreneurial capacity in the Beninese cultural and creative sector, in collaboration with both institutional and independent players.

This programme is launched with our local partner ADAC (Agence de développement des arts et de la culture).
